Why I started a blog

Firstly, What is a blog? I will let http://dictionary.com explain:

blog/bläɡ/nounnoun: blog; plural noun: blogs

1. 1. a regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style.

I decided to start blogging after I realized how many blogs were attached to a link on social media sites such as Facebook and Pinterest.

I enjoyed the fact that each blogger had their own style of writing and have always been one who enjoys crafting things with my own mind and hands.

After an accident left me with life long injuries that debilitate my ability to work in the conventional sense coupled with the fact that my children are now grown and have families of their own, I found myself with a lot of extra time on my hands.

I tried my hand at creating videos on YouTube for a while but quickly realized that without the expensive tools needed for quality videos (ex. filming camera, a backdrop, professional lighting and costly editing software)

This was not something I was ready to invest in so I laid that idea to rest but maybe one day I will give it a try again, who knows.

This led me to start investigating other creative outlets. I decided I wanted to journal and share things that make life a better place.

Blogging seemed to keep popping up in my mind.

I created a website and read a ton of posts. YouTube was also a huge help with tutorials.

Next thing I knew, I had this website and was ready to write.

After much research I found that blue host was the best and most inexpensive way to start my blog.
